The NTA officially announced the NEET-UG 2024 retest results on July 1. This retest was held for 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks initially due to alleged time loss during the main exam on May 5, 2024. Neet UG row: the result of re-exam is set to release today In response to the controversy, the NTA allowed the affected candidates to retake the exam. A total of 813 students participated in the retest on June 23 at seven different centers. After the retest, the provisional answer keys, scanned OMR sheets, and recorded responses of the 813 candidates were open for challenge on June 28. The final answer keys for the retest have now been released on the NTA website after experts evaluated the challenges. Neet UG row: Why does NTA conduct re-exam The decision to conduct a retest was made due to concerns about unfair score inflation. It resulted in multiple candidates achieving a perfect score of 720 from the same center. The NTA has faced allegations of misconduct during the medical entrance exam. The results of the retest for 1,563 students have been released. A new ranking list for all NEET-UG 2024 applicants is now available. Neet UG row: Neet 2024 counseling date This development paves the way for the upcoming NEET-UG 2024 admissions process, with counseling scheduled to begin on July 6. Out of approximately 25 lakh candidates, over 13 lakh have qualified this year and will be competing for around 1.8 lakh MBBS/dental seats. The CBI is currently conducting an investigation into the alleged irregularities surrounding the NEET-UG exam. CBI has filed a case involving cheating and criminal conspiracy.
