A devastating stampede during a religious event in Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh, claimed the lives of more than 120 individuals and caused injuries to several others. Hathras tragedy: Who is bhole baba The tragedy took place at the end of a satsang led by Narayan Sakaar Hari. He is also recognized as Sakaar Vishwa Hari or Bhole Baba. Authorities are currently searching for Bhole Baba. Baba has been missing since the stampede. After being informed about the stampede, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to quickly arrive at the scene and offer assistance to those affected. Bhole Baba is originally from Bahadur village in the Patiali tehsil of Etah district. He says he used to work for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) before quitting his job 26 years ago to preach. He now has a huge following in India, especially in western Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi. Unlike many other religious leaders today, Bhole Baba doesn’t use social media and doesn’t have any official accounts online. His supporters believe that he has a significant impact at the grassroots level. Every Tuesday, Bhole Baba’s events are held in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. It attracted thousands of people. Volunteers make sure that all the necessary arrangements are in place for the devotees. It included food and drinks.
