Pollard struck Rashid of Trent Rockets for five sixes within a single over. Pollard’s exceptional display enabled Southern Brave to successfully pursue a target of 127 runs, achieving victory with just one ball to spare at the Rose Bowl in Southampton on August 10, Saturday. Rashid had been quite effective in his initial 15 deliveries. He was conceded only 10 runs while claiming one wicket.  However, Pollard transformed the dynamics of the match in a single over, as his team required 49 runs from 20 balls.  He began by hitting the first two deliveries to cow corner and long-off. It was followed by a shot sent directly over Rashid’s head, then a powerful strike over deep mid-wicket, and concluded with another six to long-off. This barrage reduced the target to a mere 19 runs from 15 balls.
