Actors Mukesh and Jayasurya of the CPI(M) have been the subject of a First Information Report (FIR) after Malayalam actor Minu Muneer filed a complaint alleging verbal and sexual harassment. All complaints have been filed under one case, according to Kerala Police. Under Section 354 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). It addresses the intention to offend modesty. Muneer filed a complaint against the seven people on Tuesday, one day after she claimed in a Facebook post that she had been subjected to verbal and physical abuse. It ultimately led her to resign from the Malayalam film business. She files a complaint alleging verbal abuse against some and sexual harassment against others. But Mukesh demanded a “fair and transparent inquiry” to find out what was really going on with the charges. Additionally, he said that Muneer had attempted to blackmail him after asking for financial assistance in the past.
