Today, renowned Bollywood vocalist Anuradha Paudwal formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She joined BJP in anticipation of the next Lok Sabha elections. These elections are expected to take place in April or May of this year.

She expressed her happiness to be a member of the party led by him.Renowned playback singer Anil Baluni, main spokesman of the BJP, and national general secretary Arun Singh greeted the singer. Anuradha Paudwal was bestowed with the Padma Shri. Padma Shri is the fourth-highest civilian award in India.
Congress leaders entered into BJP
In a separate event held in Jaipur, Karan Singh Yadav, a Congress MP, has made the decision to join the BJP today. Alongside him, several other Congress leaders have also switched their allegiance to the saffron party. Yadav officially joined the BJP at the party’s state headquarters. He was accompanied by party state president CP Joshi and other prominent leaders.
Arindam Roy joined BJP
Similarly, in Odisha, popular actor Arindam Roy has resigned from the primary membership of the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD). He has joined the opposition BJP. Roy expressed his dissatisfaction with the ruling party. He claimed that he had been sidelined.Roy expressed his dissatisfaction with the BJD. He stated that the party has become overcrowded. Congress lacks future prospects. He mentioned that it was difficult to find opportunities to serve the people. It ultimately led to his decision to leave the party. Roy made these remarks while addressing reporters after officially joining the BJP. This statement came in the presence of the party’s state unit president, Manmohan Samal.Furthermore, Roy highlighted his active involvement in campaigning for the BJD in various elections. It includes Cuttack district, Tirtol by-elections in Jagatsinghpur, and Koraput (zilla parishad and municipal elections). Despite his efforts, Roy claimed that his contributions were not acknowledged by the party. He expressed his hope that others would understand his situation and not hold any grudges against him.
