The accused include two employees of a subcontracting company. These are responsible for supplying the samosas. The other three partners from another firm that had previously been dismissed for adulteration. The official mentioned that the three partners had allegedly orchestrated the placement of these two workers to tarnish the reputation of the firm. Firm had recently secured the samosa contract. The food items for the canteen of the automobile company were supplied by Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt Ltd. It had subcontracted the samosa production to Manohar Enterprises. On Saturday, some employees of the automobile company discovered the inappropriate items in the samosas.

After an investigation into the matter it was discovered that Firoz Shaikh and Vicky Shaikh had reportedly hidden condoms, gutka, and stones inside the samosas, as stated by an official from the Chikhli police station.“A case has been filed under IPC Section 328 (causing hurt by means of poison) and 120B (criminal conspiracy). The suspects confessed that they work for SRA Enterprises. They were instructed by their associates to tamper with the food provided by Manohar Enterprises,” he explained.
