India ranking in football
India is currently in second place in Group A, which has teams like Qatar, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. They have to win all their upcoming games to make sure they can move on to the next round of the tournament. Unfortunately, they lost 2-1 to Afghanistan on March 26 because of a late penalty by Sharif Mukhammad. This loss means they missed a good opportunity to secure an easier path to the next round. Many people are criticizing coach Stimac for being too defensive and making substitutions at the wrong time. Some are even saying they should replace the Croatian coach.Even though India lost to Afghanistan, they still have a chance to make it to the next round of the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. All they need to do is win at least three points in their next two games against Qatar and Kuwait. The game against Kuwait on June 6 seems to be a bit easier for India.India is also hoping that Afghanistan will lose one of their upcoming matches, especially the one against Kuwait on June 11. If this happens, India will qualify for the next round as the second-placed team in their group.
