It also involves the PF4 antibody. An autoantibody is an antibody variant. It is generated by the immune system. It erroneously identifies and assaults the body’s own tissuesm, perceiving them as external intruders. Consequently, this can result in the occurrence of autoimmune diseases, wherein the immune system inflicts damage upon healthy cells and tissues. Patients who are affected by this condition frequently experience the formation of blood clots in atypical locations such as the brain or the abdomen. Additionally, they exhibit elevated levels of a substance known as D-dimer in their bloodstream.
