Bajaj Pulsar F250 launched today. It is kinda similar to the Bajaj Pulsar N250. Bajaj introduced the refreshed Pulsar N250 earlier this year. It was incorporating several new features and a USD fork.
Bajaj Pulsar F250 vs N250
The Pulsar F250 retains the same enhancements. It maintains its traditional telescopic fork. Similar to the Pulsar N250, Bajaj has included a new LCD display with three ABS modes (Road, Rain, Offroad), Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation. Additionally, Bajaj has transferred the switchgear from the Pulsar N250 to the F250. In addition to the lack of design alterations, it is worth noting that Bajaj has not included the USD fork in the Pulsar F250, despite its introduction in the Pulsar N250. This decision is surprising, as the USD fork is known for its superior performance and handling capabilities. Another intriguing aspect is that both the Pulsar F250 and the N250 are priced the same, despite no official statement from Bajaj explaining the reasoning behind this. This pricing strategy raises questions about the differentiation between the two models and the value proposition they offer to consumers.
Bajaj Pulsar F250 features
Moving on to the specifications, the Pulsar F250 is equipped with a 249cc single-cylinder engine. This engine delivers a respectable power output of 24.1hp at 8,750rpm and a torque of 21.5Nm at 6,500rpm.These figures indicate that the Pulsar F250 is capable of delivering a thrilling riding experience, with ample power and torque for both city commuting and highway cruising. In terms of competition, the Pulsar F250 will be up against some formidable rivals in the market. The Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Yamaha R15 V4, and the Karizma XMR are all popular choices among motorcycle enthusiasts. Each of these bikes offers its own unique set of features and performance characteristics, making the competition in this segment fierce. Overall, while the Pulsar F250 may lack some design updates and the inclusion of the USD fork, its powerful engine and competitive pricing make it a worthy contender in the market. It will be interesting to see how it fares against its rivals and whether Bajaj will address the concerns regarding its design and pricing strategy in the future.
