FSSAI has reported that no ethylene oxide was detected in the spice samples of MDH and Everest brands tested in 28 accredited laboratories. FSSAI report on MDH masala According to reports, Everest spice samples were collected from two manufacturing facilities.FSSAI has taken 25 samples from MDH across 11 manufacturing facilities.All products were tested for quality and safety parameters. It includes pesticide residues.Additionally, the samples were analyzed for Ethylene Oxide (ETO) at NABL-accredited laboratories designated by FSSAI.The scientific panel at FSSAI reviewed the laboratory reports. Panel confirmed that no ethylene oxide traces were found in the samples, as per sources.
