Mercedes-Benz India is preparing to introduce its newest electric vehicle, the EQA, to the Indian market. This updated version of the EQA will be the fourth electric vehicle offering from the renowned German automaker in India. Mercedes Benz EQA electric suv launch date It is going to launch on July 8. Mercedes-Benz India had previously announced its commitment to expanding its electric vehicle lineup in the country, with a goal of offering a total of six models. The EQA will join the existing lineup of the EQB SUV, EQE SUV, and EQS. Upon its arrival, the EQA will face competition from rivals such as the BMW X1, Volvo XC40 Recharge, and Kia EV6. Mercedes Benz EQA electric suv features Last year in August, the Mercedes-Benz EQA facelift was shown to the world. One of the coolest things about it is the front grille, which has the Mercedes-Benz star pattern and a light bar that goes from one headlight to the other. Mercedes Benz EQA interior The EQA has a lot of similarities with the EQB when it comes to design. Inside the car, there will be a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a three-spoke steering wheel that you can find in other Mercedes models in India. We don’t know much about the battery options for the EQA yet. In other countries, the EQA electric SUV has two battery options and four different versions. These include the EQA 250, EQA 250+, EQA 300 4Matic, and EQA 350 4Matic. Mercedes Benz EQA range In India, the EQB has a 66.5kWh battery that powers two electric motors, one on each axle. This gives the car a combined power of 289bhp and a torque output of 520Nm. The EQB 350 4Matic can go up to 423km on a full charge according to the WLTP rating.
