Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu is a Member of Parliament (MP) from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He is representing Srikakalum in Andhra Pradesh. He took the oath of office as a minister in the Modi 3.0 government on Sunday. At the age of 36, he is one of the youngest ministers in Prime Minister Modi’s Cabinet. Ram Mohan Naidu wiki Ram Mohan is the son of the late union minister and TDP leader K Yerran Naidu. After completing his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Long Island University, he worked in Singapore. However, he decided to leave his job and enter politics following the tragic death of his father in a road accident in 2012. Ram Mohan emerged victorious in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Srikakulam at the young age of 26. It made him the second-youngest MP to be elected that year. Despite challenging circumstances, such as the arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu in the skill development scam, Ram Mohan diligently fulfilled his role as the TDP national general secretary.
He distinguished himself as one of the pioneering MPs advocating for menstrual health education and sex education in Parliament.Additionally, he actively campaigned for the elimination of GST on sanitary pads. It is worth noting that Ram Mohan currently holds the position of national general secretary within the TDP. In the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, he secured a resounding victory from Srikakulam. It garnered a remarkable margin of over 3.27 lakh votes.
