Reasi attack: This Pakistani terrorist group took responsibility

The Resistance Front (TRF) has taken credit for the recent terrorist assault on a bus transporting pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district.

The TRF issued a warning of additional assaults targeting “tourists and non-locals. Security measures have been heightened in the region. With sources from the Home Ministry revealing to India Today that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been assigned to lead the investigation into the attack. According to authorities cited by news agency PTI, some of the victims have been identified. The majority of the victims hailed from Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. The driver and conductor of the bus, who lost their lives in the terror attack, have also been recognized. Driver Vijay Kumar was from Dasanoo Rajbagh village, while conductor Arun Kumar was a resident of Kandera village in Katra, both located in Reasi. As per PTI, officials reported that among the injured, 34 are from Uttar Pradesh, five from Delhi, and two from Rajasthan. India Today sources revealed that two to three terrorists were involved in the Reasi bus attack. These terrorists are believed to be part of the same group responsible for other recent attacks in Rajouri and Poonch. The attackers were hiding in thick vegetation and launched a surprise attack on the bus on Sunday. The sources further mentioned that the terrorists, with whom no communication has been established yet. They have fled Reasi.
