Doda attack: Five soldiers and a special police officer sustained injuries following an attack by terrorists at the Army’s Temporary Operating Base (TOB) in Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir. During the exchange of fire, one terrorist was neutralized.
Doda attack: Jaish e Mohammed took responsibility
The wounded individuals were promptly transported to the Sub-District hospital in Bhaderwah for medical attention, as confirmed by an official to India Today. The Kashmir Tigers is a terror group linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed. It has claimed responsibility for the assault on security personnel.
Efforts are currently ongoing to locate and apprehend the remaining terrorists through an encounter and search operation. Official statement of ADGP of Doda on Doda attack Addressing the recent wave of terror incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, ADGP Anand Jain stated, “Our neighboring hostile nation consistently endeavors to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere within our borders. This attack in Hiranagar seems to be a recent infiltration. While one terrorist has been eliminated, the pursuit for the other is still ongoing,” as reported by news agency ANI. Third terrorist attack in this week in Jammu This is the third terrorist incident in the Jammu region within the past three days. It is following attacks in Reasi and Kathua. The recent attack in Doda district occurred shortly after security forces engaged with terrorists who had opened fire on a residence in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir. Union Minister Jitendra Singh reported that the terrorists targeted a home in Saida Sukhal village of Kathua, situated near the International Border (IB). On June 9, another attack took place when terrorists fired at a bus transporting pilgrims from a shrine in Reasi district. It resulted in the deaths of 10 individuals and injuries to 33 others.
