A few weeks back, after getting off a flight, I suddenly realized I couldn’t hear anything. After mustering some courage in the weeks that followed, I have decided to break my silence now for all those who have been wondering why I have been absent. She explained that “My doctors have diagnosed me with a rare sensorineural nerve hearing loss caused by a viral infection… This unexpected and significant setback has taken me by surprise. As I try to come to grips with it, I ask for your prayers.”
