In the American town after the apocalypse, scary creatures are always a threat because they attack when they hear any noise. ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ is a prequel to John Krasinski’s other movies, ‘A Quiet Place’ and ‘A Quiet Place Part II,’ and it takes place in Manhattan. The people there are scared of not surviving.
A quiet place day one review
This movie has a good idea, scary parts and emotional moments. It doesn’t fully capture the audience’s attention. In ‘A Quiet Place: One Day,’ Lupita Nyong’o plays the character Samira. She is very sick and seems unfriendly at first.Sam’s spontaneous responses are a key aspect of her personality. It becomes clear once you join her on her journey. While the world is struggling to survive, Sam confidently walks in the opposite direction, with a clear goal in mind – pizza. And trust me, you’ll understand why! With her therapy cat by her side, and later joined by Erik (Joseph Quinn), the question arises – do they make it out alive? But more importantly, does the cat survive? The story is co-created by Michael Sarnoski and Krasinski. He effectively draws you in. He makes you more invested in the cat’s fate than that of the main characters.Full credit goes to Michael for the screenplay, as he skillfully keeps the audience on edge with unexpected twists and turns. The decision to have the cat play a significant role was a bold and commendable choice. Every time the cat meowed or moved, it held everyone’s attention. It created a sense of suspense. On the other hand, the reactions to Sam and Erik weren’t quite the same. While they are relatable characters, they don’t evoke the same level of connection that keeps you on the edge of your seat like the cat does.
