Uttarakhand avalanche: Nilesh Bharne, a police spokesperson, said the avalanche occurred near a Border Roads Organisation (BRO) camp. An avalanche hit Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district on Friday, entrapping 57 people under snow. 16 people were later rescued; 41 are missing.
