The Bajaj Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle was launched on July 5. It has already garnered over 30,000 inquiries within the first week of its introduction. It will be made available in 77 towns before August 15. The first customer unit of this bike was delivered in Pune on July 16.
Bajaj Freedom 125 specs
The motorcycle is equipped with a 124.58cc engine, capable of producing 9.5PS of maximum power and 9.7Nm of peak torque. It comes with a 5-speed gearbox. The Bajaj Freedom 125 is equipped with a trellis frame and features a telescopic front suspension along with a link-monoshock system at the rear. It comes with a 17-inch alloy wheel in the front and a 16-inch alloy wheel in the rear, both fitted with tubeless tires. The front brake is a 240mm disc, while the rear brake is a 130mm drum. There are three variants of the Bajaj Freedom 125: NG04 Drum, NG04 Drum LED, and NG04 Disc LED. The prices for each variant are listed below (ex-showroom). The Bajaj Freedom 125 initially operates in CNG mode, with a switch located on the left side of the handlebar for the rider to switch between petrol and CNG modes. The CNG tank is securely placed within the trellis frame of the motorcycle, providing protection. The Bajaj Freedom 125 has undergone extensive safety testing, specifically focusing on the durability of the CNG kit. It has been tested in various impact scenarios, including frontal, rear, and side collisions, as well as extreme situations like being run over by a truck and pendulum impact assessments.
