Secretary Jay Shah mentioned that Dravid is eligible to apply for the position. The option of hiring a foreign coach is also being considered. Following the appointment of the new head coach, decisions regarding the batting, bowling, and fielding coaches will be made after consultation. It is worth noting that Dravid’s contract was recently extended until the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. It is scheduled to take place in the West Indies and USA starting from June 02.
