In contrast, celebrations broke out at the offices of the SP and Congress. Many party workers appeared at the Samajwadi Party office to celebrate the party’s outstanding performance in the polls. Party workers distributed sweets. Senior SP leader Uday Veer Singh, who arrived at the party office early in the morning, said: “We are winning the elections; we have been told by the party leader to stay at the counting center as a precaution.”Celebrations also broke out at the Congress office in the state capital.
