The Civil Aviation Ministry had stated on Thursday that 24 airports were closed for civil flight operations. The Union Government has extended the closure of 24 airports across India till May 14, amid rising tensions with Pakistan following Operation Sindoor. The government had earlier stated that airports would be closed till May 10.
