Deadpool and Wolverine movie review: The long-awaited reunion of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ has finally taken place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Wade Wilson is also known as Deadpool, and Logan, also known as Wolverine, are thrown into the fantastical multiverse of the MCU. Deadpool and Wolverine movie review This Marvel film is filled with in-jokes and surprises that will leave you screaming in excitement. As Deadpool would say- F@%* bring it on! Two of the most respected superhero franchises come together in the MCU multiverse, all thanks to the Time Variance Authority (TVA). In a complex storyline, Wade Wilson [Ryan Reynolds] is searching for a purpose in life. All he wants is to feel important. He even tries to join the Avengers. During one of his missions, he ends up being drawn into the Time Variance Authority, where he learns that his universe will cease to exist in a few hours because the ‘anchor being’ of his universe has gone missing. In case it’s not clear, the ‘anchor being’ was Wolverine [Hugh Jackman]. Wade believes he can make a difference and save his universe by finding the right replacement for Wolverine. But as expected, things go awry, and they encounter Cassandra Nova [twin sister of Charles played by the lovely Emma Corrin] in ‘The Void’, where Deadpool and Wolverine find themselves banished.Deadpool and Wolverine movie review: Final words The movie relies on meta-commentary to set the stage before Reynolds and Jackman team up for their ultimate mission. Their bickering and chemistry create a bromance we didn’t know we needed, delivering laughs and punches with sincerity. The film prioritizes characters over story, serving as a test for Marvel to revive its lost glory. The successful bromance between Ryan and Hugh tugs at your heartstrings until the very end. With plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and fan service, the film is a fun ride with epic post-credits scenes.
