Flamingo accident cause
The Maharashtra forest department initiated an inquiry into the matter, with authorities gathering samples from the location where the carcasses were discovered. A separate group from the forest department will interview the pilot who was operating the Emirates aircraft. There is speculation that the group of flamingos was en route to the Thane flamingo sanctuary when the collision with the aircraft occurred. Environmental activists have suggested that the flamingos may have altered their course due to ongoing construction activities or pollution in the area.
