According to the reports, the Lok Sabha elections 2023 will be held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1. The schedule for the IPL is organized for 17 days. In these 17 days, there will be a total of 21 matches played. The tournament will begin on March 22.

The BCCI secretary Jay Shah said in The Indian Express that “The whole IPL will take place in India only. The organization is finalizing the schedule. It would soon make it available to the public. The BCCI will collaborate closely with government and security organizations. As the dates for the 18th Lok Sabha elections have been announced. Now the Board will examine and resolve any concerns with the first two weeks’ timetable.
IPL 2024 schedule
On February 22, the BCCI officially revealed the IPL schedule. The BCCI has postponed the schedule’s release in consideration of the dates of India’s next general elections.In the first game, the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will face the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the M A Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The dates for the general elections have already been revealed. The governing body is anticipated to unveil the remaining league schedule shortly.
