Lava has officially confirmed the launch of the Yuva 5G smartphone in India. The Indian company has provided a sneak peek of the new 5G device through a brief video shared on X (formerly Twitter). It offers some insights into its features.

The teaser hints at a potential dark green color variant for the device, although it is likely that Lava will introduce it in other color options as well. The leak proposes that the 5G phone might be priced in the sub-Rs 15,000 segment. There are rumors that it will run on the older Android 13 OS instead of the current Android 14 OS. With Google gearing up to launch the Android 15 OS soon, the presence of Android 13 might be a bit disappointing. Internally, the device is anticipated to feature a 5,000mAh battery. Details regarding charging and display are currently unknown, but it is expected that Lava will provide a large screen similar to other Lava devices.
