Now, after a gap of seven years, he returns to the silver screen with Maharaja, another gripping thriller. Interestingly, this film also marks the 50th project of Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi. Police is deeming it as a trivial matter. Nevertheless, Maharaja remains unwavering in his determination and refuses to leave the police station until his beloved Lakshmi is returned to him.  As the story unfolds, we gradually uncover the truth behind this perplexing situation and unravel the mystery surrounding Maharaja’s unwavering pursuit to recover Lakshmi. Vijay Sethupathi shines in his role as Maharaja, delivering a realistic performance that tugs at the heartstrings. Anurag Kashyap surprises with his portrayal of a common man, showcasing his versatility. Natty, Mamta Mohandas, and Abhirami also deliver strong performances.
