Former UN ambassador Nikki Haley has decided to suspend her campaign for the Republican presidential nomination following Trump’s Super Tuesday triumph.Despite the odds, Haley had been fighting for the GOP presidential nomination, but she is planning to withdraw her candidacy on Wednesday.The former UN ambassador is slated to speak in Charleston, South Carolina, at 10 a.m. ET. Citing people familiar with the matter, the Wall Street Journal said she will make the announcement public during her speech.Trump and President Joe Biden both dominated Super Tuesday polls as they march towards November rematch.Haley managed to won Vermont, tarnishing Trump’s hopes of clean sweep.
