Tamizh Pudhalvan Scheme: On Wednesday, M K Stalin announced the upcoming launch of the Tamizh Pudhalvan Scheme. It will provide financial assistance of Rs 1,000 per month to boys pursuing higher education after completing their studies in government schools. This initiative is scheduled to commence on August 9 in Coimbatore. Tamizh Pudhalvan Scheme tamilnadu Stalin highlighted the success of the Pudhumai Penn scheme. It has already benefited approximately 2.73 lakh female students transitioning to college from government-run educational institutions. It offers them the same monthly support of Rs 1,000. He emphasized that the new scheme for boys aims to support around 3 lakh students from underprivileged backgrounds. It will be implemented with a budget of Rs 360 crore. 1. During an event at his Kolathur Assembly Constituency aimed at distributing tuition fee bags to students of Kabaleeswarar Arts and Science College, the Chief Minister articulated his vision of transforming Kolathur into a model constituency. He emphasized that all 234 Assembly segments within the state are regarded as his constituencies. In addition to Kolathur, several other constituencies are poised to receive new police and fire stations, along with essential public utility offices such as sub-registrar and tahsildar offices.In a similar vein, to assist boys from economically disadvantaged and marginalized backgrounds in achieving their aspirations for higher education. It is a comprehensive initiative titled “Tamizh Pudhalvan”. It will be launched in the upcoming financial year (2024-25). This initiative will provide financial support of Rs 1,000 per month to boys who have attended government schools from grades 6 to 12, with the funds being directly deposited into their bank accounts. This financial aid is intended to facilitate the purchase of textbooks, general knowledge literature, and magazines, thereby enhancing their academic success.
