The two nations are aiming to enhance their tourism relations by initiating visa-free group tourist exchanges. Nikita Kondratyev is the director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects at the Russian Economic Development Ministry. She mentioned that India is in the last phase of internal state coordination, according to RT News.The International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum 2024” held in Kazan. In this event, the minister revealed that discussions regarding a draft agreement between Russia and India are in the pipeline. The initial round of consultations is planned for June. It is anticipated that the agreement will be signed by the conclusion of this year.
Objective of visa free Russia visit
The primary objective of this agreement is to enhance tourism cooperation between the two nations by facilitating visa-free group tourist exchanges. Kondratyev announced Russia’s intention to emulate the achievements of visa-free tourist exchanges. This agreement has already been implemented with China and Iran. On August 1 of the previous year, Russia and China launched their visa-free group tourist exchange. Likewise, a visa-free group tourist exchange between Russia and Iran also commenced on the exact same date. It marked the beginning of a fresh era of collaboration in the tourism sector.
