Woman’s T20 World Cup: On August 27, Bcci revealed India’s Women’s T20 World Cup squad. For the forthcoming ICC competition, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates, Bcci selected a roster of fifteen players.

The tournament’s ninth edition will take place in Dubai and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), from October 3rd to October 20th. India is in Group A with Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, and Pakistan. Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur, two seasoned professionals, have been added to the team’s leadership group. Renuka Singh, Richa Ghosh, Shafali Verma, and Yastika Bhatiya are among the other members of the team. Among the 15 players is spinner Asha Sobhana, who rose to prominence in the Women’s Premier League. The press release also states that Yastika Bhatiya and Shreyanka Patil, two important players for India, are presently injured and that their availability for the competition will depend on how fit they are. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah will host the tournament’s 23 matches. The first semi-final will take place in Dubai on October 17 and the second semi-final on October 18. Both the semi-final and the final have a reserve day.
