It marked the first track and field gold for Pakistan at the Games on August 7. Chopra’s performance earned him an Olympic silver. He contributed to his impressive collection of accolades, with his only valid attempt out of six throws. Although it was not his most outstanding day in competition, he succeeded in bringing home India’s inaugural silver medal from the Paris Olympics.
