The current administration in Rajasthan is revising the Mukhyamantri Anuprati Coaching Scheme to enhance its benefits for a greater number of students, as stated by state minister Avinash Gehlot during the Rajasthan Assembly session on Monday. Gehlot is the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment. He noted that the initiative was originally introduced by the preceding Congress government in the fiscal year 2021-22. It aimed at offering students complimentary preparation for competitive examinations necessary for admission to various professional programs and for securing government employment.When the program was first launched, it was designed to support 10,000 students. This number was later increased to 15,000 and then to 30,000 in subsequent years, as noted by Gehlot. He mentioned that by the end of the previous year, over 20,000 students had benefited from the program. He also explained that in the coaching initiative, students are chosen based on their home districts, categories, and the specific exams they plan to take. Candidates must apply online, and those who meet the eligibility requirements are selected for coaching based on merit, following the guidelines provided by the department at regular intervals.
